About the role
ProRecruiters is seeking a Chemical Operator to join a growing and dynamic team!
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment, including reactors, filters, pumps, and pressure vessels.
- Adjust control settings to maintain product quality and yields.
- Record data related to processing conditions and test results.
- Perform quality control tests and draw product samples as needed.
- Respond to equipment malfunctions and assist in troubleshooting with technical staff.
- Start and regulate pumps for washing, rinsing, and transporting materials.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods into and out of processing equipment.
- Maintain and inspect operating units to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures and process improvements.
- Follow all safety protocols, especially during emergency situations.
Requirements
- 1 year in a chemical manufacturing facility or industrial plant is required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts.
- Mechanically inclined and safety-conscious.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $26 to $30/hour
- Schedule: Day Shift, with the ability to rotate shifts
- Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
