About the role

The Chemical Processing Operator I is responsible for handling, packaging, and disposing of hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with safety and environmental regulations. They collaborate with TSDF Technicians in various environments, classifying, segregating, labeling, and consolidating chemicals based on compatibility and hazard class.

Responsibilities

• Preparing shipping documents
• Coordinating transportation
• Maintaining accurate inventories and waste tracking
• Mentoring new hires on standard procedures
• Safely using all PPE, including respirators

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Passing a Pre-Employment Physical and Drug Screen
• Completing HAZWOPER training
