Chemical Operator

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in creating high-performance lubricants.
• Work in a fast-paced, safety-first environment.
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to retrieve and move packaging materials.
• Blend raw materials into high-quality products based on precise customer specs.
• Follow detailed batch instructions to ensure consistency and quality.
• Operate mixers, pumps, and mills through analog and HMI controls.
• Use an RF Scanner to input material movements into SAP software to manage inventory and production data.
• Load and unload bulk tankers trucks and operate a spotter truck.
• Unload railcars raw materials.
• Label and fill packaging items in compliance with company, DOT, and OSHA standards.
• Accurately measure and weigh chemicals into designated containers, following detailed instructions.
• Complete batch tickets and manufacturing logs to ensure full compliance with company policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area at all times.
• Report any damaged or missing inventory to supervisors promptly.
• Support other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (technical experience a plus!)
• 3+ years in manufacturing preferred
• Experience with compounding, blending, or mixing required
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varying temperatures
• Basic computer skills (SAP, MS Office)
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures, from hot to cold
