Chemical Operator 1- C Shift

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious individual to join our team in a hands-on production role. This position involves setting up mechanical equipment, handling web and chemical materials, and safely moving materials across the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Operating programmable logic controllers (PLC)
• Preparing and processing samples for in-process quality tests
• Safeguarding compliance with all operating, quality, and safety standards
• Recommend process improvements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of operations

Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand/bend/twist for an 8-hour shift
• This is a C shift position 9:30PM-6:30AM

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of manufacturing operator experience
• Knowledge of EH&S, ISO, cGMP, and other manufacturing regulatory requirements

Skills

• Strong understanding and application of basic math skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Computer hardware/software experience
• Experience handling chemicals
• Adaptability and willingness to learn multiple operations and tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Work well independently while also being a positive contributor to a strong, cohesive team

Pay

The pay range for this position is $23.00-$36.00 per hour. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses.
