About the role

The Chemical Loader operates assigned equipment or areas of the plant, performing operations-related activities per work processes. This role involves utilizing chemical manufacturing knowledge and experience to safely and efficiently load and unload tankers, isotainers, railcars, tanks, and vessels. The position requires working in a team environment with minimal supervision, setting priorities, and completing work activities independently.

Responsibilities

  • Follow operating discipline principles, procedures, and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.
  • Monitor process conditions, equipment, and control systems to maximize production and product quality.
  • Perform tasks assigned to operations as per procedures, including field checks, sampling, and equipment preparation and lineups.
  • Comply with company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and arrangements.
  • Report all HSE accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly.
  • Act in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Take responsibility for personal learning and development to improve both self and the business.
  • Assist in the training, mentoring, and assessment of other team members.

Skills

Schedule

Day Shift: 7 AM – 5 PM (10-hour days), Monday – Friday.
