Responsibilities

  • Perform all lab analysis using burettes, pipettes, pH/ion meters, atomic absorption spectrophotometer, laboratory balance, hydrometers, hull cells, CVS, and all other lab related equipment.
  • Accurately report chemical analysis and tests to Plating Managers and Process Engineers.
  • Make all chemical additions and bath make-ups.
  • Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately.
  • Keep accurate up to date records regarding current baths on production floor.
  • Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on most lab equipment, chemical controllers, pumps, and other lab related equipment.
  • Interact with vendors and visitors.
  • Perform lab inventory and identify chemicals and equipment needed to order.
  • Aid in writing departmental instructions and procedures.
  • Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals.
  • Maintain a safe, neat and orderly work place.
  • Use all required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately.
  • Evaluate cross section samples in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Prepare micro section sample coupons including: cutting, mounting, grinding, polishing, specimens evaluation under the scope and generate lab report.
  • Must meet all department quality and throughput requirements as well as follow all company policies and procedures.

Essential Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
  • Excellent knowledge of process chemistry.
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years’ experience in the Wet Process department or related chemical environment.

Skills

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
  • Excellent knowledge of process chemistry.
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.

Pay

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies vary depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $45,460 - $71,857.

  • Being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents;
  • Recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation;
  • Understanding and following authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL);
  • Understanding the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US;
  • Managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
