Core Responsibilities
- Run required QC protocol on incoming raw materials and finished products to verify conformity to specifications.
- Absorb and resolve non-conformities.
- Interpret and document test results accurately.
- Maintain organized lab records and reports.
- Perform basic maintenance on lab equipment.
- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance as necessary, calibrate and verify equipment following lab SOPs.
- Perform laboratory testing of experimental formulations & competitive products.
- Support blending and packaging of experimental formulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Work with team to ensure lab is properly stocked, glassware is cleaned, and waste streams are handled in accordance to policy.
Position Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working in a lab environment.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience with computers and Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or closely related science.
- Interest in Lubricant Science, Automotive or Industrial Equipment.
- ICML or STLE Certifications.
