Primary Responsibilities
- Provides professional chemical dependency assessment, counseling, and education for patients with an identified substance abuse and/or dependence.
- Cook up the development of the individualized treatment plan as related to substance abuse.
- Delivering psycho-educational curriculums
- Co-facilitating group therapy
- Preparing written documentation for internal and external audiences
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field AND One year of experience providing behavioral health services in a mental health and/or sex offense specific treatment setting
- OR Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field, which included training or experience in providing behavioral health services, including individual and group therapy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing behavioral health services to clients with substance use disorders.
- Experience in substance abuse counseling
Pay
Competitive pay ($28.26 – $41.43 / hourly; $59,006 – $86,505 / annually)
