Job Summary
Provides chemical treatments to oilfield well sites according to customer specifications and company processes. Clean driving record required. Must be able to work at a fast pace while keeping safety as a top priority.
Essential Duties
- Properly load and unload trucks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment
- Deliver chemicals and treat wells in a timely manner, as scheduled
- Treat wells to prevent corrosion, scale build up, etc.
- Accurately complete bills of lading (BOLs) and other reports according to company policy
- Maintain accurate inventory reports according to company policy
- Timely completion of reports and documentation
- Maintain driver’s logs according to DOT regulations
- Follow all SOPs (standard operating procedures)
- Work well both independently and as a team
- Provide excellent customer service
Other Qualifications
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED and 1-3 years in oil and gas industry is preferred.
- Certifications/Licenses: Class A CDL preferred, Class B CDL with hazmat, tanker, airbrakes endorsement required. Must be licensed to drive manuals and automatics.
- Driving Requirements: Follow all FMCSA and DOT regulations.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- Pull and drag hoses in outdoor environments, including adverse weather
- Tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment
- Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands
- Will require daily climbing, twisting, standing, crouching, kneeling, sitting, walking, driving, and transitioning in/out of vehicles
- Must be able to talk, hear, and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin
- Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment
Work Environment
- Indoors and outdoors with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme winter weather, precipitation, and wind
- Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil, and gases on a daily basis
- Employee will be subject to road conditions found throughout the Williston Basin
- Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud
Language Skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDSs), operating instructions, and procedure manual
- English language proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending
Computer Skills
- Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, electronic timesheets, MS Office, and programs such as OneNote for recording daily deliveries
- Must possess a smartphone with internet access
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to accurately calculate and record chemical inventory is crucial
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using weight and volume measurements
