Key Responsibilities

  • Site Assessment & Planning: Conduct customer site evaluations and technical audits to support sales teams with installation recommendations and scope development
  • Equipment Commissioning: Configure, program, and validate chemical feed systems and controllers on startup through calibration, testing, and verification procedures
  • Installation & Maintenance: Perform electrical and mechanical installations while maintaining strict adherence to safety, environmental, and health standards
  • Technical Support: Provide on-site troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, coordinating with internal teams and corporate resources as needed
  • Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and customer satisfaction
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed records of all service activities and ensure compliance with safety and administrative requirements

Qualifications

  • Core Competencies: Technical Foundation (Instrumentation/Electronics background with proven troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude), Independence & Accountability (Self-motivated ability to manage projects and travel scheduling with minimal oversight), Problem-Solving (Strong logical reasoning to diagnose and resolve technical issues systematically), Communication (Clear, professional communication with customers, peers, and in written documentation), Hands-On Skills (Visual and manual dexterity for precise instrument and electrical work; comfortable working in varied environments), Technical Literacy (Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and basic computer skills; valid driver's license required)
  • Required Experience & Education: Technical degree or diploma in Electrical Technology, Instrumentation & Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, OR 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Instrumentation & Electronics, plant operations, or maintenance, OR 2+ years of relevant technical training (college, military, vocational school) with demonstrated experience working with 120VAC, low voltage, analog/digital communication, and installation/troubleshooting
