Spray Application

The Spray Technician is responsible for applying chemicals as directed.

Possesses an awareness of and commits to chemical safety practices.

Follows through on assigned tasks accurately.

Language Proficiency

Communicates in English and Spanish – both orally and in writing.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day.
• Works 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required).
• Works in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Works in direct sunlight for extended periods.
• Works in situations near direct automotive traffic.
• Works near or about natural bodies of water.
• Works in conditions that may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Work Environment

Works 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required).

Qualifications

• Has or can obtain a QAL.
• Basic knowledge of plant material.

Skills

• English and Spanish language proficiency.
