About the role

As our Residential Chef, you will be responsible for:

• Prepare, plate and serve nutritious, balanced meals (lunch, dinner and 2 snacks) for residents and staff daily
• Create weekly menus that support both physical and emotional wellness
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen that meets all health and safety standards
• Order supplies and manage inventory within budget
• Support the therapeutic environment through warm, consistent care

Requirements

• Experience as a chef or cook in a residential, school, or health care setting
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to pass background check and TB/Drug/Physical test
• Reliable transportation and availability for a set weekly schedule
