Chef de section/Superviseur production - Area Manager
Responsibilities
Ensure safe, timely, and efficient production to deliver high-quality products to the next process stage and the customer.
Achieve unit business objectives related to cost, quality, safety, and delivery.
Lead, train, and support hourly employees, ensuring accountability for performance and goals.
Implement business center strategies within the workshop/area.
Enforce compliance with all safety standards, procedures, audits, and standard work methods.
Promote continuous improvement and foster employee development and a strong team culture.
Requirements
1 year or more of relevant work experience;
Bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant work experience (supervision, management, production, etc.).
Qualifications
- Fluent in English;
- Experience in tire manufacturing processes (an asset);
- 4-year technical degree, desirable;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks;
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
- Knowledge of safety and quality procedures, HR policies, and budgeting;
- Ability to lead teams;
- Ability to use appropriate computer-based technology.
