CHEF DE PARTIE
Moonfleet Manor Hotel is a charming, historic property in the picturesque Jurassic coastline. Our beautiful hotel features lush gardens, stunning views, and a fun yet relaxed atmosphere.
About the role
As Chef de Partie, you will be a key player in our culinary team, contributing to the creation of exceptional dishes that reflect our commitment to quality. This is a permanent role working 48 hours per week (including weekends). The hotel is set in a rural location, so own transport or a reliable method of getting there is essential. Live-in accommodation is available as an option if required.

Responsibilities
- Oversee your workstation and execute menu dishes according to specifications and direction from the senior chef team.
- Contribute creativity and input to the creation of specials and market menu items.
- Ensure your section is prepared, cleaned, and maintained to high standards, adhering to food hygiene and allergen regulations.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to maintain a harmonious working environment and effective communication.
- Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff, sharing knowledge and skills to foster growth within the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a high-quality kitchen.
- Charisma, an engaging personality, and a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to remain calm and focused during busy service while maintaining a clean and tidy workstation.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, methods, and food safety standards; Food Hygiene Level 2 is beneficial.
- Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and teamwork skills.

Pay
£33,700 per annum plus service charge.
Schedule
48 hours per week, including weekends.
