Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a talented kitchen team to deliver exceptional Mediterranean cuisine.
- Develop innovative and seasonal menus that showcase the rich and diverse flavors of the Mediterranean region.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are maintained at all times.
- Collaborate with local farmers and suppliers to source the freshest ingredients.
- Create memorable dining experiences that exceed guest expectations and enhance our resort’s reputation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef specializing in Mediterranean cuisine, preferably in a luxury resort or fine dining establishment.
- Extensive knowledge of Mediterranean culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Creativity and ability to innovate with menu development and dish presentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Culinary degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized culinary institution is preferred.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
