Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a talented kitchen team to deliver exceptional Mediterranean cuisine.
  • Develop innovative and seasonal menus that showcase the rich and diverse flavors of the Mediterranean region.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are maintained at all times.
  • Collaborate with local farmers and suppliers to source the freshest ingredients.
  • Create memorable dining experiences that exceed guest expectations and enhance our resort’s reputation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef specializing in Mediterranean cuisine, preferably in a luxury resort or fine dining establishment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Mediterranean culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Creativity and ability to innovate with menu development and dish presentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized culinary institution is preferred.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
