About the role
Aid in the supervision and management of a university dining center under the guidance of the assistant director. Responsibilities include executing the menu, budget, staffing plans, customer interactions, safety, and sanitation. Supervise, counsel, train, and develop employees. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Maintain high levels of customer service.

Requirements
- Education: Certified nutrition, sanitation, hospitality management, culinary training, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Prior experience with menu planning, preparation, setup, presentation, and pricing; supervisory experience in a high-volume food service establishment.
- Skills: Knowledge of commercial kitchen and food service operations; computer proficiency (Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook).
- Other: Demonstrated customer service skills; experience with automated scheduling and inventory systems; eligibility for CWC and ServSafe certifications.
Qualifications
- Education: Accredited culinary program with AOS degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Supervision and management experience in a high-volume, multiple-item menu food service establishment.
- Skills: Knowledge of computers, customer service, and supervisory abilities.

$47,000 - $56,900/year and commensurate with experience.
