About the role
Lyle House Care Home in Roehampton offers specialist residential and dementia care across 4 floors of luxury facilities. Our amazing staff led by the manager create a comforting routine for the residents and keep them safe & secure.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the preparation of high-quality meals for your residents.
- Help the Chef Manager manage the catering team.
- Assist the Chef Manager in promoting and monitoring food hygiene and safety standards, carry out risk assessments and ensure the kitchen is cleaned to a high standard.
- Responsible for the kitchen and staff in the Chef Manager's absence.
- Assist the Chef Manager with Menu planning.
Requirements
- Experienced Chef, proactive, passionate, and ambitious.
- Friendly and approachable, ready to interact with residents, their guests, and family.
- Experience as a chef and working within a catering environment.
- Valid food hygiene certificate.
- A passion for producing high quality food.
- Can do attitude!
- Able to take initiative and responsibility.
- City & Guilds 7061 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering for the Hospitality Industry.
- Over 3 years’ experience as a Chef or in a similar environment.
Qualifications

Schedule
Hours: 40 hours per week, working weekends on rota.
