Chef Assistant

About the role

Vespertine is seeking a dedicated chef assistant to support the Research and Development chef. You will work directly with the Research and Development chef and Culinary Director to prepare and execute tasks necessary for updating menus across Vespertine, Destroyer, and Meteora. You will also play an integral role in bringing each new menu item to service in every restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and execution tasks for menu updates across Vespertine, Destroyer, and Meteora
• Collaborate with the Research and Development chef and Culinary Director to develop and refine new menu items
• Support the implementation of new dishes during service at each restaurant

Requirements

• Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
• Well-versed in multiple culinary techniques
• Ability to work flexible shifts ranging from morning to evening or evening to night, depending on the restaurant

Schedule

Full-time, hourly position with shifts varying between morning, evening, or overnight.
