Cheese Production Worker - 2nd & 3rd Shift

About the role

We are seeking hardworking, reliable individuals to join our team as Cheese Laborers in Chilton, Wisconsin. This hands-on production role is ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work, working as part of a team, and contributing to the production of high-quality cheese products.

Responsibilities

• Lift and place 7-pound cheese blocks onto conveyor belts for packaging.
• Stack product into large plastic totes.
• Move filled totes using a pallet truck to the sealing station.
• Transfer sealed totes to the cooler for storage.
• Maintain safe and efficient workflow throughout the production process.
• Assist with nightly sanitation of production equipment, including:
  • Conveyor belts
  • Packaging machinery
  • Production surfaces
• Perform wet cleaning activities while wearing protective rain gear and PPE.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.

Schedule

• Second Shift: Monday – Thursday OR Tuesday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Third Shift: Monday – Thursday + 1 hour into Friday, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Pay

• Base Pay: $24.70/hour
• Shift Premiums:
  • +$3.00/hour for hours worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM
  • +$2.25/hour for weekend hours worked

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 10+ hours.
