About the role
The Cheerleading Assistant Coach at Landstown Middle School will support the school's cheerleading program. The coach will assist the head cheerleading coach in organizing practices, leading routines, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and leading cheerleading practices
- Support the head cheerleading coach in developing and refining routines
- Ensure all participants adhere to safety guidelines and rules
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or a related field
- Experience as a cheerleader or assistant coach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of proper cheerleading techniques and safety procedures
- Experience working with middle school-aged students
- Passion for promoting positive school culture through sports
