About the role
Join our Fiesta Mart Store Operations Team as a Checker - 079 Houston-Westheimer (ages 16-17) at 12584 Westheimer Rd., Houston, Texas, 77077.
Responsibilities
- Maintain outstanding customer service as per company standards
- Process sales quickly, accurately and efficiently
- Perform cash register operations
- Safeguard company assets
- Under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor
Requirements
- Ability to read and write Spanish/English
- Ability to interact with general public and co-workers
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Able to bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods of times
Qualifications
- Basic PC/Outlook skills
- Retail Management Certificate
