Chassis Dyno Technician

This position is an onsite role in the Wind Tunnel complex.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles with instrumentation, including installing sensors, prior to testing.
• Collaborate with engineers to conduct Aerodynamic, powertrain cooling, and Fuel Efficiency tests on vehicles to collect data.
• Remove vehicles and instrumentation after testing is completed.
• Support maintenance, calibration, and quality systems to ensure Wind Tunnel facility readiness for Product Development testing.
• Interface with customers to understand test objectives, develop test strategies, and collect/analyze data to meet customer needs.
• Support efficiency improvement actions, including test automation and lights-out testing strategies.
• Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting for test system issues, instrumentation, and facility infrastructure.
• Stay current on related test standards and develop updated or new test methods as required.
• Develop and enforce safe plans of action for all test and facility activities.
• Work with Environmental, Health, & Safety representatives to ensure compliance with all applicable guidelines and regulations.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
