Job Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver strategic event and experiential programs that drive meaningful interactions with clients and prospects and support business growth across events of various sizes and formats (in-person and virtual).
- Own end-to-end event delivery, where applicable, including ideation, plan development, agenda creation, content development, speaker sourcing and readiness, logistics, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.
- Serve as the marketing coverage lead for Auto Marketing events, supporting local/regional initiatives and large-scale/national programs as needed.
- Cook up integrated workstreams across creative/content, event operations, vendor management, and execution to deliver a seamless, high-quality program experience.
- Coordinate vendor, agency, and venue relationships, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting support, performance management, and post-event evaluation to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Track and manage event budgets with ongoing monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting; optimize spend and resource allocation.
- Cook up post-event follow-up strategies (communications, feedback collection, lead/next-step coordination) and ensure timely pre- and post-event reporting to stakeholders.
- Support risk assessments, contingency planning, and on-site issue resolution to protect the customer experience and business outcomes.
- Stay current on experiential/event trends and emerging technologies; recommend enhancements that improve engagement and executional excellence.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
- Bachelor's degree required; degree in communications, hospitality, marketing, business.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in event marketing/experiential marketing, event strategy and execution, marketing, and/or project management.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent, high-priority initiatives in a dynamic environment with limited oversight; strong attention to detail and execution quality.
- Strong stakeholder and partner management skills; excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication; comfort working with senior/executive leadership.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, integrating multiple workstreams and managing feedback from diverse stakeholders.
