About the role

Charlotte Tilbury is recruiting Seasonal Brand Experts to join the Freelance Brand Expert team. In this role, you will teach customers Charlotte’s secrets of artistry, developed over 20 years at the top of the industry with celebrities and leading brands. You will deliver Charlotte’s philosophy of artistry made easy while contributing to the growth of an exceptional beauty business. Strong artistry, sales, and service skills are essential, along with experience in beauty and retail.

This role will predominantly support Sephora and Ulta locations in Monmouth County, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Promote and create makeup artistry in-store, always representing the ethos, products, and image of Charlotte Tilbury.
• Drive business through exceptional makeup artistry and customer service, reflecting brand values and customer base.
• Achieve sales targets by delivering an amazing, personalized shopping experience and sharing Charlotte’s philosophy of artistry made easy.

Sales

• Strive to achieve event sales goals and sales-per-hour targets.
• Create brand awareness through product knowledge sharing and demonstrations.
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit within company guidelines.

Customer Service

• Lead by example to promote the "Tilbury Touch" and exceptional customer service.

Team Work

• Demonstrate a positive and cooperative approach toward work and colleagues.
• Maintain an atmosphere of open communication, professionalism, and creativity.

Operations

• Ensure the counter/gondola is "customer ready" from open to close of business.
• Maintain excellent counter hygiene standards, including cleaning display units, tools, and testers throughout the day.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock counts, rotation, timely replenishment, and visual merchandising.
• Support new launch displays and collateral placement through communication with the Sales and Artistry Executive.
• Assist in the execution of events.
• Maintain consistent communication with the Brand field team regarding counter/gondola needs or concerns.
• Maintain high standards for schedule management, clocking in/out, and submitting timesheets via the payroll application (AllWork).

Requirements

• Experience working with Sephora and/or Ulta is highly preferred.
