About the role

As an Analyst Chargeback, you'll support payment dispute operations by researching, processing, and resolving chargebacks, retrieval requests, and account inquiries. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigative work, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and customer service are equally important. You'll work cross-functionally to ensure financial disputes are resolved efficiently while maintaining compliance with established procedures and service standards.

Location: Las Vegas (hybrid).

Responsibilities

  • Verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and total accounts.
  • Maintain accounting records of chargebacks, retrieval requests, and exception processing.
  • Compile and sort documents related to the chargeback and retrieval cycles.
  • Analyze customer needs when answering questions related to account inquiries and disputes; explain available services.
  • Correct errors and resolve financial disputes as conveyed by cardholders and credit card associations.
  • Adhere to departmental procedures to meet customer and client needs in an innovative and resourceful manner.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in customer service, financial operations, data analysis, or a related office environment.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles or financial transactions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships across multiple teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Pay

For this role, the hourly compensation is $18.50 USD, with flexibility to adjust higher or lower based on the full scope of qualifications. IGT complies with all applicable local pay transparency laws and collective bargaining agreements.
