Charge Services Application Analyst (Remote)

Job Summary

Community Health Systems is hiring a Cerner Application Analyst - Charge Services to join our EHR Team. This role will help implement, manage, and modernize the Cerner Charge Services Application.

About the Role

This role involves consulting on comprehensive service line workflows, identifying, resolving, and reporting solution status, risks, and issues to client and project leadership, coaching on data collection and system design requirements, analyzing to determine optimal solution build and implementation, and maintaining relationships and navigating through conflict and complex relationship situations to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, build, test, and resolve issues with and maintain the Cerner Charge Services Application(s).
• Resolve complex technical problems involving various groups across functional lines.
• Exercises independent judgment in developing processes, techniques, and success factors.
• Identify, resolve, and report solution status, risks, and issues to client and project leadership.
• Coach on data collection and system design requirements and analyze to determine optimal solution build and implementation.
• Consult with internal project, Business Partners, and organizational teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines, and project updates, and verify configuration requests.
• Stay up to date on industry and Cerner best practices for continuous modernization of the EHR.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required or 3 years of direct application experience.
• 1-3 years of direct application experience required, 3-5 years of direct application experience preferred.
• Experience with Agile methodologies or software development lifecycle processes preferred.
• Strong understanding of application systems and business process design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on time.
• Proficiency in documentation and use of product management tools.

Qualifications

• Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) - American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management and/or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) - Healthcare Financial Management Association.
