About the Role

Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, directs, coordinates, and controls the nursing activities of assigned staff. Assists the Supervisor in evaluation of assigned staff and in completion of assigned projects. Provides care for a group of patients utilizing the Nursing Process. Assignments are performed appropriately to the age and developmental level of patients being served. Responsible for maintaining nursing schedules and orientation of new employees.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree (required); Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing within three (3) years of hire date (required)
• BSN (preferred)
• Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Florida (required)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• Professional certification (preferred)
• 1-2 years of RN experience (required)
