Responsibilities
- Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors nursing staff
- Develops patient care assignments
- Collaborates with advanced practice providers
- Evaluates patient care effectiveness
- Addresses patient care complaints
- Participates in hiring, training, and staff evaluations
- Maintains safety standards
- Performs additional duties as needed
- Oversee staffing and ensure appropriate patient care
- Collaborate on clinical outcomes
- Evaluate care quality
- Respond to operational needs in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- At least one year of RN experience
- Active RN licensure
- BLS certification specific to the work location
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform related tasks
- Strong communication skills
