About the Role

Provides leadership and coordination of nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care and clinical objectives are met.

Responsibilities

  • Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors nursing staff
  • Develops patient care assignments
  • Collaborates with advanced practice providers
  • Evaluates patient care effectiveness
  • Addresses patient care complaints
  • Participates in hiring, training, and staff evaluations
  • Maintains safety standards
  • Performs additional duties as needed
  • Oversee staffing and ensure appropriate patient care
  • Collaborate on clinical outcomes
  • Evaluate care quality
  • Respond to operational needs in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • At least one year of RN experience
  • Active RN licensure
  • BLS certification specific to the work location
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform related tasks
  • Strong communication skills
