Join MercyOne's 5 South Team as a Charge Nurse! 5 South is a 40-bed Medical/Surgical unit that cares for acutely ill adult patients with a wide range of conditions, including:
- Urology
- Nephrology
- Trauma
- Colorectal Surgery
- General Medical Conditions
This fast-paced, collaborative unit offers nurses the opportunity to build a strong clinical foundation while gaining experience across multiple specialties. Our team partners with Virtual Nursing to provide innovative, patient-centered care and support bedside nurses.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care
- Develop and coordinate individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Iowa RN license (or Illinois RN license if applicable)
- BLS required within 3 months of hire
- ACLS required within 3 months of hire
- BSN preferred
- Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and patient-centered care

Pay
Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus + Relocation Assistance Available
- 0-1 year RN experience: $10,000
- 1-3 years RN experience: $15,000
- 3+ years RN experience: $20,000
