Summary

The Charge Endoscopy/Procedural RN responsibilities include:

• RN is proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills
• RN acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members
• RN performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Specific Skills: Clinical skills appropriate to position, Interpersonal skills
• Certifications And Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support), RN (Registered Nurse), ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
• Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of two years RN experience, Minimum of one-year acute care RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU or Critical Care, Endoscopy experience is strongly preferred for this role, Charge experience is preferred for this position

Preferred Nurse Specialty

• Education: Bachelor's Nursing or Associate's Nursing and Bachelor's Science in related field or Associate's Nursing and RN Certification in related field
