Role Overview
Provides leadership and coordination of nursing staff in a clinical setting to ensure quality patient care and achievement of clinical objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assigns, directs, educates, and evaluates nursing/support staff
- Assesses patient care needs; develops care plans
- Collaborates with advanced practice providers
- Evaluates care effectiveness
- Addresses patient care complaints
- Participates in hiring, training, and staff development
- Maintains safety standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school or equivalent
- Minimum of one year RN experience
- Valid RN license in applicable states
- BLS certification
- Physical ability to perform job duties including standing, walking, lifting, and communication
