Charge Operating Room Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Coordinate perioperative care and supervise an OR nursing team
• Manage patient flow and assign staff effectively
• Ensure compliance with evidence‑based surgical and infection‑prevention standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and support teams to optimize patient outcomes and safety
• Mentor OR nurses and support professional development
• Oversee supplies and equipment management
• Support rapid response to emergencies and document care accurately
• Promote a culture of integrity, compassion, accountability, and continuous quality improvement

Qualifications and Skills

• Experienced RN with perioperative and leadership skills
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, infection control, and patient safety standards
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment abilities
