About the role

The Clinical Manager oversees daily operations in the Emergency Department, managing human resources, resolving patient, visitor, staff, and physician concerns, and responding effectively to crises.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to telemetry staff and ensure staff competency
• Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate staff development
• Maintain compliance with policies, certifications, and licensing
• Manage staffing levels and optimize resource utilization
• Support quality improvement initiatives
• Control costs through efficient supply and labor management
• Promote teamwork, effective communication, and interdepartmental collaboration to meet hospital goals

Requirements

• Active RN licensure with a BSN
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
• Leadership skills
• Maintain required certifications
• Pass EKG and NIHSS assessments
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and professional communication skills

Qualifications

Preferred candidates have prior management experience and clinical competence in emergency or telemetry care.
