Charge Nurse (RN) - Neurology

Position Overview

Seeking a Neurology Charge Nurse (RN) to oversee night shift operations in the Neuro Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily unit operations, including staffing, patient care, and workflow optimization.
• Lead and evaluate nursing staff, conduct performance reviews, and assist in hiring and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote effective communication among staff, patients, physicians, and management.
• Support department goals, participate in special projects, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration and resource utilization for efficient patient care.
• Maintain current knowledge of clinical practices and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in policy updates and strategic planning aligned with hospital initiatives.
• Demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, and positive professional demeanor.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current California RN license and Associates Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
• BLS certification (current).
• Preferred: BSN or in progress; previous management experience.
