Join our team as a day shift, full-time Medical Surgical Charge Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, NM.

Responsibilities

  • Practice Professional Nursing, including managing patient care and staff in the assigned area.
  • Ensure efficient patient flow and appropriate use of supplies and operational functions.
  • Collaborate with unit managers and directors to develop and revise unit policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Serve as the departmental liaison and first point of contact for patients, providers, and staff.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Requirements

  • Minimum: Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
  • One (1) year of Charge Nurse experience in a hospital setting OR more than one year of clinical or management experience.
  • CPR BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire).

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty or national certification in specialty care.
