Join our team as a day shift, full-time Medical Surgical Charge Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, NM.

Responsibilities
- Practice Professional Nursing, including managing patient care and staff in the assigned area.
- Ensure efficient patient flow and appropriate use of supplies and operational functions.
- Collaborate with unit managers and directors to develop and revise unit policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Serve as the departmental liaison and first point of contact for patients, providers, and staff.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Requirements
- Minimum: Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
- One (1) year of Charge Nurse experience in a hospital setting OR more than one year of clinical or management experience.
- CPR BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire).
Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty or national certification in specialty care.
