About the role
Carmel Hills Wellness & Rehabilitation in Independence, MO is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for all shifts. Walk-in interviews are welcome at the facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies and state regulations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor residents' health and report changes to the clinical team
- Assist with admissions, assessments, care planning, and discharges
- Supervise CNAs and ensure care is delivered with excellence and safety
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Missouri (Required)
- Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN program (Required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (Required)
- Long-term care or rehab nursing experience (Preferred but not required)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
