Charge Nurse (RN) - Full Time Nights | Golden Rehab

About the role

PAM Health is seeking a Charge RN for its 50‑bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Golden, CO. In this role you will provide hands‑on patient care, support the nursing team, coordinate patient care, and serve as a clinical resource for staff. The inpatient rehabilitation setting offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients as they work toward greater independence and a return home.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation environment.
• Support and mentor nursing staff as a clinical resource.
• Coordinate patient care activities across disciplines.
• Assist with unit flow and staffing needs during charge shifts.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Colorado.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification (required for Charge RN positions).
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and leadership skills.

Preferred experience

• Charge nursing or nursing leadership experience.
• Med‑surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience.
• Experience caring for medically complex patients.
• Proficiency with vents, trachs, PICC lines, and other advanced clinical needs.
• Background in emergency or critical care.
• At least 1 year of inpatient medical‑surgical nursing experience (preferred, not required).

Schedule

Full‑time position with a 3 × 12‑hour shift pattern; rotating weekend days are required.
