Charge Nurse (RN) - FT Nights

About the Role

The RN Clinical Charge Nurse oversees daily unit operations to ensure safe and high-quality patient care. This role involves assigning patients, managing staffing, and coordinating resources to address patient needs and optimize outcomes. The Charge Nurse rounds on patients, evaluates care quality, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, to promote patient safety and satisfaction.

This position leads clinical practices rooted in evidence-based standards, emphasizing safety, personalized care, and cultural awareness. The Charge Nurse supports team development by mentoring staff, fostering teamwork, and participating in performance improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Mentor staff, foster teamwork, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Manage equipment, bed flow, and resource planning.
• Contribute to protocol development and survey readiness.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license.
