Charge Nurse (RN) - Day Surgery

We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse (RN) for a Day Surgery department.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily operations of the unit to ensure efficient patient care and meet quality standards.
• Providing leadership, mentoring staff, and supporting recruitment and training initiatives.
• Preparing reports for nurse management and assisting with operational activities.
• Assessing staff competencies, making patient care assignments, and coordinating patient services.
• Maintaining clear communication with management regarding unit needs and incidents.
• Assuming leadership in the absence of the Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• At least one year of RN experience.
• Current RN licensure with applicable state permit.
• Required certifications: BLS, with ACLS, CPI, PALS, and NRP within designated timeframes depending on department.
• Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
