About the Role
Coordinates a departmental clinic unit, managing staffing, patient care, and regulatory compliance. Acts as liaison to internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers and administration.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and delegates patient care to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs based on patient needs and staff competencies.
- Develops and implements plans to meet regulatory standards and ensures staff training and mentorship.
- Handles scheduling, staffing decisions, and orientation for new staff, supporting employee development.
- Coordinates patient care, monitors quality, and ensures adherence to standards.
- Engages with customers to maintain professional conduct and addresses service issues.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse licensure with at least two years of clinical experience, including neonatal ICU for Level III NICU.
- Relevant certifications such as CPR, ACLS, PALS, NRP, with specialty training preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, decision-making, and change management skills.
- Management experience and ability to handle high-stress situations independently.
