What You’ll Do
- Oversee nursing services, administration, and clinical supervision during assigned shifts
- Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures
- Serve as a key clinical resource, supporting care delivery and fostering a safe, respectful environment
- Oversee and guide nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs
- Complete and update resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation
- Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and nursing leadership
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
- Conduct routine rounds to ensure resident needs are being met
- Address, document, and report incidents, accidents, and concerns, including suspected abuse or neglect
- Ensure appropriate supplies, equipment, and medications are available and communicated to leadership
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and resident safety
Qualifications
- Licensure / Certification: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Experience & Skills: Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills; Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations; Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living preferred; Commitment to resident-centered care and team collaboration; Alignment with Americare’s Mission, Vision, Home Town Hospitality®, and F.A.M.I.L.Y. - Physical Demands: Lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with resident transfers as needed; Push, pull, and maneuver up to 100 lbs., including resident mobility assistance
