Charge Nurse RN - Aria Nursing & Rehab

Aria Nursing & Rehab is offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions on both day (6:30am-7:00pm) and night (6:30pm-7:00pm) shifts.

About the role

The RN Charge Nurse oversees and coordinates the delivery of resident care during assigned shifts in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policy, under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing or designee. This role provides clinical supervision to nursing staff, ensures continuity of care, and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, CNAs/STNAs
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Oversees unit operations during absence of higher-level management
• Uses independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws

Requirements

• Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment

Qualifications

• Preferred: Minimum of two years’ experience in a long-term care setting
