About the role
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs within a collaborative care team. They serve as the primary liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions, contributing to care plans and taking appropriate actions.
- Deliver care aligned with established policies and procedures, maintaining accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, educating patients and families, and facilitating communication among care team members.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, offering ideas for process enhancements and supporting organizational goals.
- Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations.
- Mentor and support the development of fellow nurses, fostering a positive, professional work environment.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality, safety, and professional standards, acting with integrity and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associates, Bachelors, or Masters in Nursing.
- Valid RN license (single or multi-state compact).
- Current BLS certification (Instructor or standard).
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to professional growth and excellence in patient care.
