Charge Nurse, LPN

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) and nursing staff on assigned unit
• Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and care team
• Accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Care coordination for admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
• Serve as a leader and mentor, promoting teamwork and accountability

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN or RN license in South Carolina
• Current CPR certification required
• Maintain all continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
• Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Passion for delivering compassionate, resident-centered care
