Charge Nurse - Interventional Radiology

About the Role

The Charge Nurse provides shift-level leadership, overseeing patient flow, safety, and quality care while supporting and guiding unit staff. This role works closely with nursing leadership to ensure efficient operations and may also deliver direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Nursing Director, works with the Department RN Manager and RN Assistant Manager as part of the management/leadership team to provide clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes, including patient flow, exceptional care experiences, quality processes, patient safety, and direction of unit staff in designated service area(s).
• Provides clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes, ensuring safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care of all patients in the service area.
• May provide direct patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
• BLS certification (REQUIRED at time of hire)
• ACLS
• PALS
• One year Interventional Radiology Experience (Preferred)

Pay

Pay Range: $42.69 – $61.17 per hour

Schedule

Full time, 1.00 FTE, 10-hour day shifts
