Charge Nurse - ICU, Nights

About the role

The role involves coordinating and delivering high-quality nursing care across all patient age groups, managing operational issues during shifts, and providing clinical care as needed based on census demands.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a resource for staff guidance
• Communicates patient and departmental concerns to leadership
• Ensures effective care planning and execution

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (bachelor’s preferred)
• At least 1 year of hospital nursing experience (2+ preferred)
• Valid RN licensure with relevant certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, PALS, chemotherapy/biotherapy, and specialized certifications depending on the unit
• Additional training in fetal monitoring, emergency response, and pediatric or specialty certifications are required within specified timeframes
