About the role

The Clinical Nurse III at BayCare is responsible for managing a patient population effectively, serving as a role model for the nursing team, and fostering professional development. This position involves direct contact with children and assumes primary responsibility for their care, assistance, and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manages patient populations effectively
• Serves as a professional role model for the nursing team
• Fosters professional development of self and team members
• Performs the roles of preceptor and charge nurse
• Assumes primary responsibility for the care, assistance, and supervision of children

Requirements

• 18 months comparable nursing practice experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a related healthcare field
• Nationally recognized and applicable RN Professional Nurse specialty certification within 7 months of hire/promotion
• Eighteen months experience at BayCare Health System, ED Observation I-WHH

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• American Heart Association (AHA) Certified Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
