Responsibilities

• Independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
• Organizes, prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in an orthopedic unit.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 6 months RN acute care experience
• Associates Degree in Nursing

Shift Hours: 6:45PM - 7:15AM
Shift: Shift 3 (Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies)
Weekend Work: Every Other
