Charge Nurse

Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital, part of the New Jersey Department of Health and the Division of Behavioral Health Services, is seeking full-time registered nurses for the Charge Nurse role.

About the role

The Charge Nurse provides medical assistance and guidance to physically and mentally ill patients. They are responsible for patient care and well-being, maintenance of quarters, and supervision of nursing staff in an assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical assistance and guidance to patients
• Ensure the care and well-being of patients
• Maintain quarters and patient areas
• Supervise work programs and activities of nursing staff

Requirements

• One (1) year of experience as a registered nurse in a hospital, clinic, or medical center
• Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• Ability to physically lift, move, and position clients as needed
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Possess a valid New Jersey driver's license if operation of a vehicle is necessary for essential duties

Pay

$69,668.20 - $101,950.90

Schedule

• Day, evening, or night shifts available
• Full-time positions
• Mandatory three-week orientation on the day shift for all new hires
