Responsibilities
- Captures and coordinates care delivery
- Addresses operational issues
- Guides nursing staff
- Safeguards patient safety and promotes health
- Provides clinical care as needed based on patient census
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's preferred)
- At least 1 year of hospital nursing experience (2+ preferred)
- Holds current Georgia RN licensure
- Complies with BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and other specialty certifications as applicable
- Emergency nurses must obtain PALS within 30 days of hire
- Additional certifications may be required per unit, such as TNCC, ENPC, or fetal monitoring
