Charge Nurse - Admit/Discharge Center, Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Captures and coordinates care delivery
• Addresses operational issues
• Guides nursing staff
• Safeguards patient safety and promotes health
• Provides clinical care as needed based on patient census

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's preferred)
• At least 1 year of hospital nursing experience (2+ preferred)
• Holds current Georgia RN licensure
• Complies with BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and other specialty certifications as applicable
• Emergency nurses must obtain PALS within 30 days of hire
• Additional certifications may be required per unit, such as TNCC, ENPC, or fetal monitoring
